Define the pathway
For each medical-question category, document:
- Intake channel
- Required information
- Initial triage role
- Designated medical reviewer
- Response expectation
- Decision authority
- Communication route
- Record location
- Follow-up owner
- After-hours boundary
Suggested question categories
- Eligibility or enrollment
- Protocol medical interpretation
- Safety information requiring medical review
- Clinical-data or laboratory concern
- Urgent medical escalation
- Non-urgent scientific or operational question
